Overview: Sleek Blushes…some of the BEST drugstore blushes you can buy, see pics with swatches and comparisons to Nars blushes!!
As you know, I love Sleek Make-up – its good quality, at a very affordable price and thier blushes are some of my favourite products from Sleek!

I have quite a few of the blushes, and below you will see swatches of these and some comparisons to other blushes where possible. I think I will always like these blushes and here is why………………
Reasons why I love Sleek blushes:
- Very affordable at £4.29 each
- You get an impressive 8 g of product – around double what you get in a NARS or MAC blush!
- Very blendable, reasonably long wearing – even on my oily skin!
- Available in matte, shimmery (rather than glittery), or satin finishes
- Great selection of shades, some matte and some shimmer – something for everyone!
- Nice packaging, sturdy, not cheap looking and has a nice size mirror in the lid of each blush!
- Pigmented – a little goes a long way with these blushes, making them even better for value!
- I give Sleek blushes 5/5!!
The Blushes I have are:
An unusual pink/purple blush with shimmer, I dont have anything else quite like this, its so pretty and will suit a number of skin tones. This is my favourite blush of all time from Sleek and quite possibly my favourite blush in gereral at the moment!
Pomegrante reminds of Soap & Glory’s blush when swatched, but the Soap & Glory one does not show up on me well when applied, where as Pomegranate is just fine on me!
Heavily compared to the infamous NARS Orgasm blush, whilst these are similar, I find that Rose Gold is lighter and a lot more peachy than Oragsm which has pink and peach. The glitter in Oragsm intense and many are put off by that, but Rose Gold is shimmery rather than glittery. I think this is more wearable during the day than Orgasm is! Rose Gold is more pigmented than the Orgasm, beleive it or not!
A point to note is that I am a light/medium olive, NC35/40 and this blush does not show up on me well, I can use it as a highlighter, but not really as a blush. Women of colour beware!
A gorgeous, satin finish, cotton candy mid toned cool pink. Almost matte in its finish, but its actually a satiny finish and not completely matte, very pretty.
A dark berry red, that looks scary in the pan but since its one of lesser pigmetented blushes from Sleek, it applies quite lightly and so its easy to use and very flattering on yellow undertoned skin.
A lovely blush with gold shimmer, this is similar to NARS blush in Toas, and I have pics below comparing them. I really like Sunrise and although in the pic it is shown up as very glittery, this doesnt show up as OTT glittery when applied, so dont worry!
As you can see below the NARS blush is more brown and the Sleek is more red/pink, but I think you will agree they are a little similar.
A lovely matte, neutral blush originally released as part of the Nude Collection, September 2011, but it is permanant thankfully. I have done a review of that collection here
A beautiful, bright raspberry blush with a satin finish. Gives a really pretty glow to the skin without being too OTT. This is fairly similar to Illamasqua blush in Tweak. I wouldnt say there were dupes, but they are similar, with Tweak having more coral in it.
Lifes a Peach
A matte medium peach, this is another one that doesnt show up on me that well, but will be lovely on lighter ladies.
This is Limited Edition from the Caribbean Collection earlier this year. It is a matte, bright orange blush that I think will look great on either very fair ladies or dark ladies. For me, I dont use this blush since I dont think it suits me at all.
