Review:

I have to say that this foundation does live up to many of its claims above, it is very light, and comfortable to wear, gives a really natural finish and controls oil…its rare for a product  to live up to its claims but I think EL did a good job here!

This has quite a light and quite runny texture. You have to shake the bottle before applying, the bottle contains little balls like the kind you sometimes get in the bottom of a nail polish.

When you pour this out it appears to contain shimmer, however it doesn’t show up on your face, thankfully!

It applies well and you have to blend it out, it doesn’t set too quickly like some foundations.

The coverage is light to medium. I still needed quite a bit of concealer for my spots and under eye once this was applied.

I set it with powder but found that it transfers quite a bit on to tissues when I blow my nose. It also transfers onto my fingers when I touch my face (yes I am one of those naughty face touching ladies!)

The finish is very natural looking and I like that, it also feels really light on my skin – like I am not wearing any foundation – another plus! Its a fairly matte finish, which is all the rage at the moment, and I like as I have an oily T zone.

The wear is pretty good, it wears well without primer, and withstands a normal day. I have to admit I have not tried this on a night out in a hot bar or club, to see how it performs then.

I would say this may not be suitable if you have dry skin, as it kept my face quite matte  and its oil-free (good for me) but maybe too drying for others. It is however marketed for “all skin types”.

This didnt break me out, which is great! I shouldnt be suprised at this since it says its non-acnegenic.

I don’t think this contains any SPF, which is  a con for me, but some ladies may prefer this, as their moisturiser may have SPF or they use a seperate SPF. Given its light texture and feel on the skin, I am not surprised this doesnt contain SPF.

Overall, if you want a very light coverage and like a natural finish, give this a try, it might be just what you are looking for!

Personally I prefer more coverage, medium is ideal for me, so its not a keeper for me, however I still like it enough to recommend to others!! Why not get down to Estee Lauder and get a sample of this, they are very generous when it comes to samples!

Here are the ingredients:

I am giving this 4/5
