Etat Pur – B37 Radiant Complexion Care

Etat Pur Radiant complexion care B37

Etat Pur is a French skincare brand that has some fantastic products. On the blog today is one of their moisturisers – its called the B37 or the Radiant Complexion Care. You can check it out on their website here. I was lucky enough to have this included in the goody bags at the LiveBloggers event I co-hosted in September. You can read up all about that here.

The B37 costs £12.60 for 40ml

This is what Etat Pur have to say about it:

Slightly tinted, this instant healthy glow day care:

makes the skin radiant and bright, with no “foundation” effect

evens out and brightens the complexion

revitalizes the skin and lessens signs of fatigue

guarantees optimum moisturisation

protects against the harmful effects of the free radicals responsible for ageing

The complexion is evened out, its appearance bright and its radiance rekindled.

Review:

Although this is “tinted” you need not worry about it suiting your complexion or not as I find the moisturiser is not “tinted” in the traditional tinted moisturiser sense. Once you blend this in it leaves very little pigment on the skin, but it does brighten and even out my complexion, therefore living up to its promises! I follow by applying my foundation as normal. This moisturiser is light in texture and its easy to apply, it sinks in really quickly and is non sticky, it makes a great base for makeup! I find one pump of this is enough for my whole face. I actually love the packaging - hygiene is important to me and that is why I love products that come with a pump!

This is said to have a light apricot scent but to be honest, I don’t pick that up, I don’t detect any scent in fact!

In terms of moisturisation, this is good for me for my normal/oily combination skin but it may not offer enough hydration for someone with dry skin. This did not make me oilier than normal nor did it break me out or aggravate my acne – winner!

Overall, I really like this, it lives up to its promises, does not contain any nasties like parabens and mineral oil that I generally try to avoid and its very reasonably priced. I really cannot fault it and its the first product I have ever tried from Etat Pur, I am really impressed and I cannot wait to try more of their products! In due course I will be reviewing more of their moisturisers once I have had a chance to use them for a while.

Etat Pur have made a fantastic range of products and here you and can read about all the things the range is free from here, and its all cruelty free!

I am not sure if Etat Pur is sold in any shops in the UK (it seems not), it would be great if it is then you can go and use the testers etc. Hopefully in the future they will be in some UK stores.

  • I really like the look of this. I’ve been enjoying trying out radiance enhancing and skin-tone evening products of late and I actually really like the L’oreal Youth Code Luminize Serum for this – I was astonished at how much better it made my skin look the first time I applied it! I haven’t tried anything from this brand yet but have enjoyed trying out french skincare in the past so perhaps I will try and track this one down.
    Hope you’re well lovely!

  • Hi Mel,

Thanks for your comment – this is lovely, a good price and it contains no nasty chemicals. I tried the L’Oreal serum earlier this year and it broke me out, I have reviewed that on the blog if you want to have a look. I am glad it works for you though :-)

I think that Etat Pur give samples with their orders so why not give this a try?!

    Thanks
