Leor – Strawberries & Champagne Face Mask
A few weeks back I was introduced to this lovely brand called Leor and offered the chance of reviewing one of their lovely items. They sent me one of their face masks, of which they have 10 different ones! – the Strawberries & Champagne Face Mask!
First up here is a little about the Company – Leor made a name for itself with their “Feelgood Boxes” launched in 2011 and they were previously known by that name, you can read up more about the boxes here (which make lovely gifts by the way!) Now they offer a whole range of lovely pampering treats – I highly suggest you check out the cute website here.
The whole line of Leor products are Paraben and Sulphate free!
Now on to this Face Mask – it retails for £10 and comes in a 100g tub. I quite like the silver tub it comes in, although I am not keen on the fact I have to scoop out the products, as I prefer packaging that is more hygeinic.
The face mask itself has a mousse type texture which I was not expecting. It was lighter than I thought it would be. I used this a few times, each time in the evening after cleansing and drying my face.
The mask smells a lot of champagne, which is nice if you like champagne but I am not a fan of it or its scent if I am honest, I couldn’t smell much strawberry, which is a shame, I would have preferred for it to have more of that fruity scent.
The mask is easy to apply and spread across your face given the light texture. It feels pleasant on my skin and I didn’t have any reactions or breakouts from using it.
I did feel like the mask was hard to wash off and it felt like it had left a residue. I washed my face with face wash after using the mask each time, to ensure it was all off. It may be because I have some what oily skin that I did this, if you have dry or normal skin then you may not need this step.
After using the mask I felt like my skin was very soft and it felt nourished and plump. I like the mask, but its not my favourite due to the scent.
A little of this goes a long way and its reasonably good value for money. I like that this comes in 10 different scents so if Strawberries and Champagne does not float your boat you may find another that does?!
Overall, I am keen to try more products from this brand and maybe another one of thier face masks. I really like the fact all of the products are paraben and sulphate free.
Im giving this 3.5/5
Here are the ingredients in the Strawberries and Champagne Face Mask:

I love champagne but only to drink, not on my face! I agree a strawberry scent would have been better!

Im not keen on the ingredients – wax and avacado oil sound really heavy, maybe thats why you had to wash your face after using this. Nice idea but its gone wrong! Thanks for a good review Grace!

I love champagne! This sounds cool and I have dry skin so I am not worried about it being too heavy. I have never heard of this brand so its great to check out new things!

some of the other scents sound amazing – chocolate truffle? toffee? brilliant! (I always seem drawn to the ones i’d rather eat than put on my face!) Will definately try this at some point but it might have to go on my christmas list!
