I have been a huge fan of NYX for years now, ever since I started swapping with US gals on Makeup Alley. It’s a great affordable brand that really delivers, and sometimes they come out with fab dupes of MAC and Urban Decay products. NYX is now available in the UK –online and in selected stores like River Island and Urban Outfitters which I think is fab as I hate buying makeup online if I have never seen it on the flesh…..swatching is a must for me!

The other week, at Olympia Beauty (which was fab!) I came across the amazing NYX stand – which was HEAVING! I managed to squeeze my fat bum through to grab a few items, one if which is this lovely emerald green eye liner.

This Glam Liner Luxe in Glam Lagoon is £5.50 for 3g and I love it! You can check out the website for this here.

Review:

The shade is gorgeous, especially on brown eyes! The liner is pigmented and really performs. Its easy to apply with its thin applicator – even a liner idiot like me doesn’t have much trouble applying this in a somewhat straight line! LOL! The cap closes really securely and I don’t think I need to worry about this drying out quickly, which can sometimes be the trouble with gel liners.

This liner has very good staying power, and it is waterproof which is awesome, I applied it without any primer (on my oily lids) and it lasted a whole day, without smudging, fading, or flaking! I applied it at 7 in the morning and when I came to remove it at 11pm it was completely intact, it looked just as I applied it! I love long wearing products like this! And considering I had worn it without any primer – I was super impressed!

I want to now get more of these little beauties in different shades! The price of these is so affordable – there is not really any reason not too…..!

This liner is another reason to love NYX and my love for them continues to grow. If you get the chance to check out NYX at any River Island or Urban Outfitter’s stores – make sure you do. Their blushes, eye shadows (singles) and eye primer are all amazing!
