A couple of weeks ago I got the chance to go to Tatiana Hair Extensions salon and meet the lovely lady and her team. Tatiana Karelina is a lovely and gorgeous lady from Russia with many years of experience in the hair extension and hairdressing profession. Her gorgeous and stylish salon, in Kensington, London, has a whole list of celebrity clients as well as clients who are ordinary members of the public. Some of her celebrity clients include Lauren Goodger, Stacy Solomon and Frankie Essex.
Tatiana’s salon specialise in real hair extensions which are custom made for each client. The hair is mostly high quality Russian hair, which she sources herself – a claim no other hair extension salon owner can make in the UK! Awesome or what!? Tatiana also uses European hair for some of her extensions.
Due the fact that the service is personalised and the extensions are made for each and every customer according to the texture and colour of their hair, the extensions are not cheap but they are very good quality. You can see the price list here.
Here are some photos of the event. We also watched a great video which will be released soon and I will try and post here on the blog.
Tatiana explained to us how the extensions are made and different strands of slightly different coloured hair are used in a single hair extension to match the customers requirements exactly. They are all handmade!
At the end of the event Tatiana kindly gave me a real hair braid that I absolutely adore and I want to take really good care of. Despite having only a photo of me and my hair, she made it a perfect match – I love it! A braid like this will cost £45-65.
If you want to have hair extension the best place you can have them is at Tatiana’s – she will ensure you get the best service and truly stunning hair!

I wanted to thank Tatiana for a fab event and also the Lucy Dartford PR team who are all super lovely! Thanks so much for having me there and for my lovely braid.
