I am so happy to be able to be on the panel of UK beauty bloggers for a great Korean beauty website called Wishtrend.com.
Wishtrend sells a whole array of interesting brands from all over the far east and they ship internationally. There are literally thousands of products on the website, many from brands we dont have here in the UK.
The other lovely bloggers who are also on this panel are:
D from Sweet Jelly Bean
Sarah- Louise from Life in a Breakdown
LaaLaa from Dolce Vanity
Bex from Futures
Being on the panel means that each month we are all sent the same item from Wishtrend which we have to review. It gives both us and our readers the chance to learn more about Asian beauty products and brands. I am so excited to be taking part! You can keep tabs on the reviews we do by going to this page.
The first product we are all trying out is a Skin Repairing Snail Cream from a brand called Elishah Coy (very well known in Asia, but I had never heard of it).
Lets point out – this does NOT contain any snails – its the muchin (or slime) that is used in this cream. It is highly regenerative and snail creams are quite popular in Asia. The muchin smooths, regernates and heals skin.
Now, I was pretty reluctant to try this and also quite quite scared to be honest! The idea of using snail slime on my skin was not appealing at all – but I agreed to the project so there was no backing out!
D Day finally arrived – the cream landed on my doorstep and I knew I had to try it right away or it will sit there for a long time unused!
The cream is thankfully not what I imagined – it is white and has a light creamy consistency. It is not slimey or gel like – that I what I was expecting but its not like that. It is delicately perfumed and I like the scent.
When you apply this (in place of a regular moisturiser), it sinks in quickly and makes my face feel really soft.
I am going to use this morning and night and in about a month I can do a full review, but for the time being – so far so good!
I hope you will like the reviews of the products from Wishtrend in the next few months and will be inspired to try something different and order from them!
For the time being, thanks for reading!
P.S – this post and related posts contains a PR sample, however my reviews are always honest and my thoughts are my own You can trust me on that, but you cant trust me not to steal your blusher if I like it!
