Atrixo: Vintage Inspired Bloggers Event
Last week I was lucky enough to attend of the nicest and well organised bloggers events I have ever been to!
It was for Atrixo who have been making great quality hand creams for over 50 years – but this event was different to others I have attended. Given the history of the brand the theme of the event was so fitting!
Most blogger events I have been to have understandably focused on the products however this one focused on other things, making it refreshing!
We learnt how to knit – yes, you read that right – we were taught how to knit by two lovely ladies. I tried, but I found it really frustrating (massive amounts of respect of anyone who can knit – its fiddly and really hard!!). The aim was to learn how to knit a lovely flower, but I didnt get far, despite having to get a lot of help along the way. I actually quietly gave up….oops!
In the middle of all the knitting there were some lovely traditional scones, tea cakes, sandwiches and tea to devour – provided by The Vintage Patisserie, all laid out on the beautifully decorated tables. It was a gorgeous lavish affair and I loved it!
There was also an opportunity to have your hair and makeup done in vintage styles which was not only fitting with the theme but also really nice. Here is a pic of the lovely Milly “all done up” vintage style!
The goody bag we received was full of all of the Atrixo products, which I will review in due course – but there were two lovely extra touches – one was the cutest cake in the shape of one of the hand creams and the other was a beautiful china tea cup and saucer – truely adorable!
I wish that more blogger events were like this one – it was awesome. I might not have got the hang of the knitting but it a brilliant and fun event!
Here is a link to the Atrixo website where you can learn more about the products and look out for reviews on them in due course. You can buy the products in Boots. Seeing as they have been making hand cream for so long, they must know a thing or two about it, right?!
Have you ever tried Atrixo products? What do you think of the event – does it sound like your cup of tea?! Drop me a line and let me know!
Thanks for reading!

Looks like such a lovely event! I am really into all things vintage inspired at the moment so this would be right up my alley. I love your little cup and saucer, such a lovely goodie to receive. I love knitting! In Ireland we learn it in primary school
