First Look: Lift Away The Years – Crystal Clear Skincare
Last week I went to an event to introduce a revolutionary approach to applying skincare, from Crystal Clear – I have never seen anything like this before!
This new device, Lift Away The Years – has been in development for two years and it is said to increase skin firmness and reduce wrinkles from first use. It is a vibrating, battery operated wand which holds the Intense Anti-Aging Serum it has been developed to be used with.

Crystal Clear claim that skin looks and feels firmer, younger, toned and hydrated. The say to use it twice daily as part of your skincare regime and watch the results get better and better day-by-day.
Crystal Clear is the brand what bought micro-dermabrasion to the UK and they also produce other skincare products. You can check out their site here.
At the event the product was demonstrated and I have to say, it was amazing to see results right there before your eyes! One half of the face was treated and you could immediately see that the skin was more plump, the area around the eye was lifted and the skin looked really good. I have never seen such immediate results from a product. The thing to note this with wand is that not only are you meant to see immediate results but the results are long term when used regularly.

The way it works is simple – the vibrating wand contains a roller ball, its this roller ball that vibrates. As you apply the roller ball onto the skin it applies the Intense Anti-Aging Serum deep into the skin. It is more effective than just smoothing it on with your hands as it stimulates the nerves in the skin, penetrating deeply and resulting in more effective results.

The wand opens so you can refill it with the Serum. It is possible for you to use any creams and lotions with the wand, but Crystal Clear say that you will see optimum results when its used with the Intense Anti-Aging Serum it was demonstrated with.
The Intense Anti-Aging Serum contains powerful peptides, oxygen complex, Sy-Nake which mimics the venom found in the Temple Viper as well as Camelia oil and Argan oil.

The wand itself it really light and feels comfortable in your hand. It sounds like an electric toothbrush when its on and the vibrating action is not at all harsh on the skin. It is safe to use around the delicate eye area. It uses a triple A battery meaning its great for travelling -no need to worry about bringing a charger with you!
I have tried the wand a few times and it feels really nice. The vibrating sensation was really strange to begin with, but its quickly grown on me. I apply the serum on cleansed skin, using the wand in the morning – it only takes a minute, and then again in the evening. Its really quick and easy to use.
I will be trying this out properly over the next few months and then I can let you know what the results are like but so far, I really like it. The serum sinks right in and immediately after use my skin around my eyes feels lifted, that is for sure. I don’t have any wrinkles (yet!) and very few fine lines but it will be interesting to see the results after a period of use.
I think this product will be very popular once its launched. The concept behind it makes sense to me, its a mechanism to drive products deeper into the skin and therefore work harder. I am surprised something like this has not been launched before to be honest!
The wand is £79.99 and it comes with 30ml of the Anti-Aging Serum. The Serum is also sold separately and costs £60 for 50ml.
