Daniel Sandler Watercolour Fluid Blush in Passion
As you may well know I love blushers, but this is the first liquid blush I have ever used. I have had mostly powders, some creams and the odd gel blush here and there but this liquid blush is a first for me. I have heard raves about these multi-award winning blushes from Daniel Sandler, so I thought I would see what the fuss was about…!
This is what Daniel Sandler has to say about them:
Multi award winning Watercolour fluid blusher contains Vitamin E and Jojoba to enhance application and nourish skin.
These blushes come in a range of colours, 12 different shades. They cost £14.50 for 15ml.
Review:
This is a beautiful blush, its a gorgeous medium peach with come coral undertones. There are tiny tiny tiny fleck of gold shimmer in the product meaning it gives a gorgeous glow to the skin whilst being really sophisticated. The particles are so fine, its not garish glitter that I am talking about (thankfully!)
You need to give the blush a good shake before applying. Once that is done you only need one drop of blush per cheek, so it really is a case of a little going a long way with this. One drop gives a pretty, demure flush of colour on me and would be perfect if you are pale. I do like my blush to be a bit more out there and I so I repeat this process and add another drop to each cheek. I apply it by putting the drop on the back of my hand and then applying and blending with a brush.
Dont be put off by my pics – there is a lot of blusher on my hand, just to show you the shade, the finished effect is so gorgeous and not clown like at all.
I actually forgot (in my excitement) to take a pic of the swatch once it was blended and dried – but here is a lovely pic I found on another blog:

The wear of this blush is brilliant, it can withstand my mental spinning classes at the gym, a long day in the office and then dinner and drinks out – its one of longest wearing blushes I have ever used and it is really is waterproof – this would be fabulous for taking away on holiday and using when you are on the beach or in the pool.
I’m also happy to report that this has not broken me out, something that always worries me as I am so acne prone. The texture of this blush is really light and its oil free, you don’t feel as if you are wearing it at all – its just perfect.
Here are the ingredients:
I am hooked on these now and I want to get more – that is for sure. I love blush but hate it when they fade and I am so lazy, I hate re-applying so this is just perfect for me! I just have to wait until my spending ban is over, then I can go nuts and stock up!
I completely understand the rave reviews now and the reason this has won awards. I am in love! I love the fact its so long wearing and that you can build up the colour if you want to. Only using a tiny amount per application means that I cant see myself completely using one up for a very long time, even with daily wear, the product will most likely expire before that happens!
A bronzer from the same formula would be amazing – please Daniel, can you make one?
You can see what others have to say about these and look at the other shades on the website here.
At the moment this is my new favourite blush….lets see what will come along to knock it off its pedestal!
Have you ever tried one of these Watercolour blushes? What are your thoughts? Have you tried liquid blushes from any other brand? Drop me a comment and let me know!

This looks so pretty! I’ve never tried a liquid blush except a Sonia Kashuk one that was liquid, but more creamy, I think. Awesome review! I need to pick one of these up

Thanks for your review. I’m so glad that Daniel Sandler ships to the US. I’m in love with foundation and concealer. Will need to add this to my wishlist for a future purchase. I have loads to work through before trying this. I fear if I get one now, my blush stash will go to waste.
