Valentines Day: Pampering Skin Care Treats
With Valentines Day just around the corner – what better than some pampering skin treats to get you in the mood for love! These three products are all sensuously scented and wonderful products to use before your romantic night out (or in)… now you can buy these for yourself or drop massive hints for them as a gift!
All of these are packed full of skin loving ingredients and are free from harsh ingredients such as petrochemicals, parabens and SLS.
Spa Find – Anti Aging Cranberry Salt Brushing £18 for 500g

Combines the deeply hydrating and stimulating properties of the original award-winning Salt Brushing, with the addition of powerful anti-ageing plant extracts of Borage, Evening Primrose and Grapeseed. Hydrating Aloe Vera, Grapefruit and Jasmine provide soothing, healing and anti-wrinkle results. The Cranberry Seed and Dead Sea Salt exfoliation mix gives an intense body buff treatment to remove dead skin cells and leave tired and mature skin glowing and youthful.
Review:
This is a very effective body scrub that you use on dry skin. Its very invigorating and a joy to use after a long day or even in the morning to get the circulation going. The grains of salt are quite big but the scrub is by no means too rough and it also combined cranberry seeds. If you have very sensitive skin this may not be suitable as it is intense.
The scent is incredible – I want to eat it, it smells that good, but the scent may be too strong for some. Not me, since I love it. The tub is huge so this is good value for money and has lovely ingredients.
This washes off easily and leave my skin super soft, its one of the most effective scrubs I have ever used and I have used a lot of scrubs! I love it!

L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Shimmering Lotion £8.50 for 75ml or £18.50 for 250ml

Enriched with shea butter with its nourishing properties, this body lotion has a light texture that is quickly absorbed, leaving an iridescent veil on the body. The skin is moisturised and perfumed with a delicate and enveloping flowery scent.
Review:
This is another gorgeous product – this also smells lovely, a very delicate floral scent of blossoms and its not too overwhelming at all. The lotion itself it lightweight but effective. It sinks in so nicely and leaves very subtle tiny particles of glitter on your skin. So tiny, that when I wanted to take pics of them the camera would not pick them up! I have to stress this will not leave you like a disco ball at all – the particles are tiny.
This is an adorable and indulgent product to use and perfect for Valentines Day, why not get your partner to apply it on you for the ultimate pampering treat!? Its gorgeous!
This is not cheap but its also one of those products you would use for special occasions. This would be lovely used on bare legs in the summer time.
The ingredients are not my favourite but it does contain natural oils and shea butter.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash £17.00 for 200ml

Review:
This is the winner of the InStyle best body wash award 10 years in a row, and I can see why! This is a fantastic, effective body wash. Yes, you can use it every day but the beautiful subtle rose scent is so romantic and fabulous that it makes the perfect treat for your skin for Valentines Day. I love the ingredients- skin loving and not harsh at all.
This will leave your skin clean but also very soft and loved. I am totally hooked on this body wash since trying it just before Christmas. Its a keeper for me.

Sweetie, this REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash looks really interesting and from what you said i could see myself trying it. Just tell me how outspoken is the actual rose scent. (you know it can be sometimes just too much)

Love the sound of the REN body wash, I agree with Luchessa, rose scent can be so overbearing, unless I can control it within whatever I’m using I can just cancel it out xo
