I think most people are a fan of perfume and in particular high quality, usual scents. Atelier Cologne offer just that, but with some added, beautiful extra twists.
The French, luxury fragrance brand has stores in Paris and New York and is also sold on high end fragrance counters around the world. The brand is owned by a lovely, super friendly couple – Sylvie Ganter and Christopher Cervasel who I had the pleasure of meeting a few weeks back.
Colognes, a type of perfume have been around for over 300 years and contain citrus notes which tend to be lighter than some other types of fragrance. Each of the Atelier Cologne fragrances are concentrated, at 18%.
Atelier Cologne scents are designed to be unisex and each and every scent comes with its own story. I absolutely love this concept, how a scent can have its on sense of identity, background and fantasy. The stories evoke drama and adventure around the scents and I think you end up imagining what the perfume may smell like before you have actually smelt it. Each Cologne Absolue tells the story of treasured emotions and powerful memories.
There are various collections of fragrances. The scents come in 100ml and 200ml sizes. If you buy a 200ml, you get a free 30ml travel size fragrance for free, but you can choose to have it in another scent, which I think is a fabulous idea.
In addition to the existing fragrances, Atelier Cologne have a new collection being released in September (though its exclusive to Selfridges now) – its called the Metal Collection and it comprises of two scents – Silver Iris (from £130) and Gold Leather (from £145). Here is Gold Leather in the 30ml bottle. The bottles from this collection contain real gold and silver for the ultimate in chic and luxury.
Ahead of Christmas some beautiful gift sets will be available comprising of 200ml scents that come with the 30ml travel size scent with a leather pouch. The pouch can be engraved with names or initials giving your gift the ultimate personal touch and will soon come out in more choices of the colour of leather. I have never seen this from another fragrance brand I love the concept, such a lovely touch. They also sell candles.
There is no doubt that Atelier Colognes are expensive, but the quality is also very good and the beautiful stories and the personal touches of the engraving make it such a wonderful, luxury, indulgent gift for someone you love (even if thats yourself) whilst being classic and exquisite.
The brand is really rather charming.
Let me know what you think of this brand? Do you think you would indulge in one of their fragrances?
Thanks for reading!
P.S – this post contains a PR sample, however my reviews are always honest and my thoughts are my own You can trust me on that, but you cant trust me not to steal your blusher if I like it!
